“He who
walks alone, reaches no far”, The Bundibugyo District Deputy Chief
administrative officer Mr. Hood highlighted the importance of working with many
development stakeholders as the only way to improve service delivery in the
District.
Following
the Joint Monitoring exercise facilitated by Good Hope Foundation for Rural
Development on May 22nd and 23rd, 2014, A district
feedback meeting followed on June 26th, 2014 to discuss and own the
detailed findings from Naads, Health and Education in the District. This
meeting was held at Bundibugyo District headquarters, attended by among others;
The District Vice Chairperson Hon.Kamabu Z.Blasio,District Health Officer Dr.Bagonza
Majid, District Community development officer Mr.Olega Caesar, Senior inspector
of schools Mr.Maate Charles, District Naads Coordinator Mr.Kisembo Light
Godfrey, Deputy Chief Administrative officer, Deputy Resident District
Commissionar,LCIII Chairpersons,School pupils representatives, Media personnels from Voice of Bundibugyo(VOB)
AND Development FM,Community process Facilitators and representatives of other
Civil society organizations operating in the District.

Vice Chairperson Hon.Kamabu Blasio closed the meeting at 05:30pm, once again
thanking Good Hope Foundation for organizing such an important feedback
meeting. He promised total support for Good Hope’s actions in the District as
it was by his predecessor Hon.Mbalibulha Godfrey, and asked all responsible
persons for the action points reached to take note and take action as scheduled
above.
